Privacy
Webenchant Limited runs webenchant.nz. This page says what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Last updated 17 October 2026.
When you send an enquiry
The contact form asks for your name, email and message. Your phone, company, budget, timeline and how you heard about us are up to you. With the enquiry we also keep the page you sent it from, your IP address and the country it points to, your browser, device type and language, and a spam check score.
We use it to reply to you and to keep spam out, and for nothing else. The enquiry is emailed to us, and you get an email saying we have it.
We keep an enquiry for 24 months, then it is deleted automatically. Our nightly backups are kept for 14 days.
When you start to fill in the form, it loads Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. Google's privacy policy and terms apply to it.
Analytics, only if you say yes
Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you accept, it records which pages you view and how you found the site, so we can see what is useful. We see totals, not who you are. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses, and its advertising features are off.
If you decline, nothing is sent. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie preferences, at the bottom of every page.

Who else sees it
Our hosting and email providers store and deliver it for us. Google sees what reCAPTCHA and, if you accept, Google Analytics collect. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email and we will get back to you within one working day.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
